Small Thrift Haul with Big Names and Sales Update!

Happy Sunday.....

Picked up a few good pieces today....  This was on a 1/2 off color tag sale so all the items were 50% off except for 1 item which was $1.

Elitelle Paris Dress paid $1.87
Armani Exchange Wool Sweater $1.57
Kimichi Blue Sweater paid $1.87
Braemar Scotland Cashmere Cardigan paid $1.57
Tory Burch Knit Top paid $1.57
Zanella Blazer paid $2
Como Dress Shirt paid $1
Let me give credit where it is absolutely due and she is so appreciated Maxine at http://fulltimeebayseller.com/ she posted that she sold a Kimichi Blue sweater recently.  I probably would have passed this sweater up a few times before looking it up to see its value.  Thanks again, you are my inspiration!

I did not research much of these items in the store.  I took a chance that the names that I wasn't familiar with would still bring me a profit based on what I paid for them.  I have been known for not doing research on certain clothing pieces.  It is kind of like seeing a rare piece and just instant knowing that it might be worth something just from the look.  I have a story to share about that in just a little bit so don't leave just yet!

Vintage Floral Sweater by Espirit not the cutest, but hey not so cute sells well too.

All That Jazz Dress paid $1.87

So I didn't have a whole lot of items but I had some great name brands!
I know that it almost seems to good to be true but it isn't.  I am sourcing most these items from a very great Thrift Store.  But someone's else lack of knowledge when it comes to brands is my financial gain.  These items aren't just sitting on the rack like a sore thumb I actually have to look through the racks in order to score these few pieces.  There is definitely time put in!

Sales Update time woo hoo!!!!

Sales Update:

I only had this listed for about 2 hours and I immediately received a best offer.  I actually had it listed for $216.00.  I am all about moving things, better yet selling things.  I paid less than $2 for this shirt.  So will I beat my brains over whether or not I could have gotten more, absolutely not!  I made a great profit on this shirt, woo hoo!!!

These were only listed a few days!!!!

I paid .25 cents for both.  I have had them for some time but the right buyer came along.  I stayed firm with my pricing.  Certain items just take a little longer than others!

This was a free item, been in my inventory since August!

I paid $1.50 at GW for this belt.  I have had it in my inventory for about 6 months.  Again I stayed true to pricing with this item and I was able to make some cash!

I hope that you all enjoyed reading and viewing my recent finds and a few sales updates!

Happy Thrifting~

Keep on Listing......

Well I hope that everyone is doing great.  I know that some of you are experiencing some harsh weather I pray that you all will be safe and protected.  I am in Florida and I have been freezing my buns off.  It's about 48 degrees here and I have the heat on.  My office is in the garage and there is no insulation so it's like an ice box while I am trying to work.  Sales have been slow but in spite of that I just keep on listing and sourcing.  I haven't had anything spectacular going on just a few good pieces here and there.

My most recent find was
Robert Graham 2XL Men's Dress Shirt
As I am sure you all have heard of them, they use to sell for tons but death by BOLO these don't go for as much as they use too.  I mentioned that this is a 2XL so I believe I will do well on this item.

Other goodies.....

Vineyard Vines by Shep & Ian
Green & White Check Print Dress Shirt

I briefly mentioned this in a different blog but this is another
Robert Graham XL ladies button front blouse, finally got around to listing it...

Hopefully this will bring in a nice cha-ching!

M Missoni Ladies Knit Top
I do believe that I mentioned finding this top, just got around to getting it listed!

I expect to hear a cha-ching on this score as well!!!

Blooper......  I mentioned that this was a Versace ladies blouse I was so wrong this is definitely for the man but still Versace!  I love the colors in this shirt, bright and vibrant!  I am going to be firm on my pricing with this particular score.  The prints and patterns are so nicely done.

Well I hope that you all were pleased and as always happy thrifting!

1/2 Off Day at The Thrift Store Haul

Well I made it through 1/2 off Thursday at my local thrift store and it wasn't that bad.  I was pretty picky about what items I purchased.  Reason being is that I have more than enough inventory so I just can't be bothered with buying too much more.  I will admit I will not turn down in high dollar items if the price is right.  Well no need to keep rambling about what I sourced here it is........

St. John Sport Knit Blouse $1.50
Gianni Versace Silk Blouse $2.00
True Religion Crochet Bikini $1.50
Lafayette 148 Blazer $2.50

Robert Graham Ladies Blouse $3.00
St. John Sport Pants $3.00

Burberry Sweater $2.25
Dolce & Gabanna Cardigan $1.75
Soft Surroundings Sweater $1.25

St. John Blazer Jacket $3.00

Oscar de la Renta Nylon Bolero Cardigan $1.50

Vintage 1970's Palazzo Pant Jumpsuit Paisley Print

Sourced for $1.50

Allen Edmonds & Peter Huber paid $9.50 for both pair.  The Allen Edmonds are called Arlington and they should go for $50-$149 and the Peter Huber can go for $30-$250.  I took a chance on the pair to the right even though they have several scratches on the toe.  After reviewing the sold listings some similar sold in much worse condition for over $50.

I picked some other items that I paid with $1 or $.50 cents for which included a J.Jill linen cardigan, 2 Carole Little Blouses, 1 Lilly Pulitzer top and a cashmere cardigan!

Update:

These items were sold yesterday.  I have had each of them in my inventory for a little over 4 months.  Victoria Jones sweater was $2, the Nancy Johnson dress was $3 and the Gardy Cardigan was at a $5 fill a bag sale, approximately cost me $.33 cents.  I took a chance on the sweater when I purchased it.  I couldn't find one that was listed or sold and I figured that I would get it anyway because of the size and design.  Probably could have gotten more but I really like inventory to move!

Thanks for reading and Happy Thrifting!!!

Goodwill Outlet Haul, Veteran's Day!

I haven't been to this goodwill in well over 6 months.  It is always overly crowded.  But I made up in my mind that I would go today after my daughter's orthodontist appointment.  I was pleasantly surprised, not as bad as I thought it would be.  Actually they have gotten some things under control.

I didn't pick up anything that were MAJOR $$$$ makers, but I will definitely hear some cha-chings.  I got there exactly at 1pm and they were putting out racks of clothes.  Perfect timing!  The one thing that I will say that I like about this Outlet is that they do clothing and handbags, knick knacks and household all at the same time.  So you either line up to go through the racks or you rummage through the bins.  One thing for sure you can't do both.  I still managed to find some accessories even after the crowd went through the bins.

I will keep the paintings and candle holder for myself.

Ann Taylor Loft, Diane Gilman, Tommy Bahama, Hot Topic Bustier, Lane Bryant
These items are not high dollar items but they will sell.
The Diane Gilman Palazzo pants should sell for around $25-$40

Orvis Top, Boston Proper, Eskandar Neiman Marcus
I picked up tons of plus size 2X, 3X they all will sell.

More plus size that will sell.

Beautiful Vintage Carole Little Dress

This dress is nice but one thing about the outlet is they have security tags on the clothes when they are in the stores and when they bring them to the outlet they miss removing some of the security tags!

Sucks!!!

This is a jacket no labels, no rn #, nothing just the size.  The flower petals are leather this is a gorgeous piece!  I will probably do $60 on this jacket.

Kimo's Polynesian Jumpsuit, expected to sell for $35-$50

Miscellaneous accessories, Fossil straw handbag and the Orton Black leather doctor purse were probably the best of all the accessories that I sourced today.

The Chanel coin wallet isn't real.  The MAC cosmetic pouch and the Liz Claiborne leather baguette cross body are all keepers for myself.

Belts, belts and more belts.  Fossil suede leather with gold tone hardware, Marshall Fields, Jennifer Morgan, Chico's and Express.  The tights I will be keeping.  The suspenders were researched and they should easily sell for $25.

My total spent was $45.00 not bad at all for all the stuff that I got.  I wasn't able to show you all of the clothes that I sourced just pulled a few from the top of the pile.

I absolutely loved my thrift adventure today.

Have a great evening and Happy Thrifting.

Update:

Sold the LL Bean Tote Purse on auction

Accepted a BO on the leather jacket.  I paid $2.25!
